We must drink enough water to keep all body processes work smoothly.
Daily water intake varies for men and women with men requiring slightly more water daily than women; on average women require 2.7 liters (9 glasses) while men require 3.7 liters (13 glasses) under normal circumstances. Under special circumstances like extraordinary workouts or for women being pregnant or breastfeeding, water intake has to increase correspondingly. Water intake must also increase in extremely hot conditions where body loses a lot of fluids through sweating. This is the simplest yet most essential tip for maintaining optimal Health and Wellness.

Fresh produces of green vegetables, fresh fruits, organic nuts, seed, legumes and meat or poultry products of grass-fed or naturally-fed animals are few whole food examples. Eating whole food demands having intake of foods which are unprocessed and thus retain their original nutritional value. Known for its anti-inflammatory properties and aiding increased brain function, it has magical medicinal properties. It also adds nice and flavorful improvement in the food its cooked with.
Second on my list is “Cumin seeds”. They have antioxidant compounds in them which not only reduce inflammation but improve digestion. Cumin seed are also known to boost the immune system. Used as spice, they add flavor and nice taste to the food.
Third on my list is “Cinnamon”. Cinnamon is one versatile spice which can be added to almost every food recipe. They lower blood sugar and also help reduce cholesterol and triglycerides.
Fourth on my list is “Garlic”. Garlic is a great culinary spice which has been used to achieve heart-related benefits in addition to making food delicious and tasteful.
Fifth on my list is “Cardamom”. They have nice and unique flavor and help aid digestion and regulate blood pressure. Sixth on my list is “Saffron”. Saffron is proven to enhance mood and get rid of depression and anxiety.
Seventh on my list is “Black Pepper”. Known as king of spices, they contain piperine which helps in antioxidant properties and improved digestion. Few other super foods are rosemary, basil, oregano, soya beans, flex seeds, quinoa, nuts and berries.

While one should know and try to eat healthy, its equally important to avoid unhealthy food. Food that are detrimental to one’s health must not be consumed. Now a days there is an onslaught of unhealthy foods. With attractive packaging and enticing media campaigns, even unhealthy foods are made to look worth-trying. Junk foods cooked in unsaturated fats and oils, how so ever tasty they may be, will definitely cause harm to your body and lead to un-healthy bodily processes.
Consuming alcohol has proven to cause unhealthy effects on complete body including cognitive functions. Hence, in order to lead a healthy life, one should cut away the unhealthy foods including alcohol consumption. In the same way, one should keep away from smoking as it causes serious health hazards to body.
It is very important to prioritize nutritious foods and avoid unhealthy ones in order to to maintain optimal Health and Wellbeing.

Include Exercise in Daily Routine!
One must compliment good diet with nice and healthy exercise to keep the body fit. Exercise not only helps in getting rid of extra fats and calories but also improve bodily functioning. For maintaining your optimal Health and Wellness it is very crucial to incorporate exercise into your daily routine.
Exercise helps improve blood circulation and metabolism. Exercise also removes body toxins thus detoxifying body. During exercise, body lowers cortisol (stress hormones) and produces endorphins (natural mood boosters) thus lightening mood and relieving mental stress. Exercise improves blood flow to brain thus improving cognitive functions. If one wants to reduce weight, one must incorporate daily exercise in routine other than healthy food.

Our bodies have internal timers known as Circadian rhythm which regulate timings of bodily functions. This biological timer regulates our sleep cycle, our hormone levels and their releases and metabolic pathways. This implies that not only should we have proper sleep duration of 7-9 hours but we should also time it whereby we should go to bed at same time daily.
Once this timer gets disturbed during travel across time-zones our during late night shifts, it can lead to sleep disorders, cardiovascular diseases and cognitive decline. Thus, discipline in life is important for bodily functioning. It also implies that one eats in an orderly and timed manner. Haphazard eating without scheduled timings can lead to metabolic disorders.
Not only eating healthy is important but eating in cyclic order at proper timings is also important. Untimed eating pattern confuses body circadian rhythm thus disturbing metabolism and in turn lead to weight gain.
